This year, in celebration of Children’s Day and as part of our vital Back-to-School Drive, the Alphonsus Williams Foundation (AWF) took decisive action by visiting De Victory International School and LEA Primary School Kudansa in Kaduna State.
This visit was about more than just bringing school supplies; it was about bringing happiness, reviving hope, and reaffirming that every child is loved, valued, and full of potential.
With bright eyes and eager smiles, the children received essential learning materials, including pencils, pens, notebooks, math sets, and whiteboards, all aimed at enhancing their individual learning experiences and the dynamics of their classrooms. For many of these students, these supplies were more than just tools; they were a symbol of hope and a pathway to a brighter future. It’s truly moving to witness how such simple gifts can ignite dreams and inspire possibilities.
We didn’t stop at distribution; we engaged deeply. Our team dedicated time to connect with the teachers, students and school administrators, understanding their challenges and aspirations for their students and identifying how AWF can steadfastly support them in creating stronger, more resilient educational environments.
